Thesa Alejandro is a devoted and compassionate professional family service advisor. Thesa has been working in the funeral industry since 2018. She has over 2 years of experience working at Glen Abbey Mortuary as a Funeral Service Director. She is highly motivated in delivering exceptional services to families.


Her goal is to help grief-stricken families and celebrate the lives of their loved ones. Thesa has over 20 years of professional experience working in the social services field and serving the homeless and those in need in the community. She has a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from Virginia Wesleyan University.

Norma Rivera’s passion is to serve families with pre-need and at-need services. When a death occurs, families are faced with difficult decisions and her key to success has always been doing what is right for the family and guiding them with compassion. She has been helping families for more than 20 years: El Camino Memorial Park as a Family Service Counselor, Greenwood Memorial Park, Glenn Abbey as a Community Service Counselor, and now Family Service Counselor at Singing Hills Memorial Park. She reaches out to the community with seminars, calls, and also as a radio host. For the last 7 years, she has been on the radio in Spanish. First was” Voces Hispanas” and for the last 6 years with “Radio Inspiracion.”


She likes to be a great team player with her coworkers and always takes initiative to go the extra mile for families and do her daily duties at work regardless of the situation. She is a problem solver and sets learning goals on how to be a better counselor for the community. She believes the wiser she gets, the better she will be able to assist.


In this industry, we never stop learning and some families help us to be better human beings and the trust we get from families is really rewarding.

Mark loves to meet up with clients and families in person. This allows him to better understand their cemetery needs and vice versa allows them to get all the information they need to make an informed decision in most cases a “once in a lifetime purchase.”  


He is attentive, empathetic and compassionate which allows him to better serve families at their most vulnerable time with the utmost care and respect. He also tends to bring much comfort and calmness during his family meetings that allows him to express the importance of cemetery pre planning.

Iris Wise grew up on the shores of Imperial Beach, has been serving the community of San Diego as a funeral professional since 2016. 


Starting her journey as a former Funeral Service Director for Dignity Memorial, Iris made the choice after switching her career in hospitality at Hilton San Diego Bayfront of seven years to continue her path as a humanitarian by help those in need during their most difficult time of their life. 


Iris is an active local artist, and has been featured in art festivals in the city of Chula Vista, and can be found in the galleries of Barrio Logan, and North Park area. Her artistic background has allowed her to help create beautiful memories of closure for families by curating unique celebration of life services and designing everlasting memorial markers for loved ones.

Adan Aguilera, a bilingual professional with a passion for customer service, started at Glen Abbey Memorial in 2017 by supporting families with memorable services in memory of their loved ones.


In my previous positions as a Hockey Sales Representative, Funeral Service Assistant, Funeral Service Supervisor, and Family Service Advisor, I have prepared myself to help families organize a ceremony and a celebration of life to honor and remember their loved one.
